Johnson Mbugua is a Swiss-trained chef and hospitality professional with a Master’s in Hospitality Management. As the Director and Lead Consultant at JNSN Hospitality Partners, he works with restaurants, cafés, and hotels across Kenya to build efficient systems, enhance profitability, and elevate guest experiences.
Before founding JNSN, Johnson established and successfully operated Moov Café & Bistro, a Nairobi-based creative hub that became one of the city’s most loved hospitality brands. He also served as Head of Marketing & Enrollment at Boma International Hospitality College, where he led student recruitment growth, strengthened the college’s market presence, and lectured in key hospitality management & culinary classrooms— nurturing the next generation of industry professionals. His hands-on leadership and proven turnaround strategies have since guided the growth of notable outlets including Koa Lamu, Wrapped Foods, Nairobi, La Fattoria Resort in Mombasa, and The Twisted Fig, Kilifi, to name a few.
